CleanShot Cloud is moving to cleanshot.com

Starting March 3, 2026, the CleanShot Cloud dashboard will be available at cleanshot.com/cloud instead of cleanshot.cloud. Here's what you need to know about this change.

What's Changing?

We're moving the CleanShot Cloud dashboard from cleanshot.cloud to cleanshot.com. This is a domain change only. All your data, settings, and shared links remain exactly as they are.

Do I Need to Do Anything?

If you use a password manager (such as 1Password, Bitwarden, or the built-in Keychain), you'll want to update the saved domain from cleanshot.cloud to cleanshot.com. This ensures your credentials autofill correctly when logging in after the switch.

Here's how to update it:

  1. Open your password manager.
  2. Find the saved entry for cleanshot.cloud.
  3. Update the website/URL field to cleanshot.com.
  4. Save the changes.

That's it. Your login credentials stay the same, only the domain needs to be updated.

Who Doesn't Need to Change Anything?

  • Teams using SSO – Single Sign-On will continue to work seamlessly. No action is needed on your end.
  • Setapp users – If you log in with your Setapp account, everything will keep working automatically.

Shared media links will also transition to cleanshot.com on March 2, 2026. Here's what to expect:

  • share.cleanshot.com – Will be replaced by cleanshot.com. Existing links will continue to work.
  • cln.sh – Short links will remain available and will redirect to cleanshot.com.
  • Custom domains – Nothing changes. Your custom domain links will keep working exactly as before.

Why Are We Making This Change?

We're bringing everything under one roof at cleanshot.com: your dashboard, shared links, and media. We decided to simplify things and make cleanshot.com the single home for everything CleanShot. Down the road, this will also let us automatically sign you in when viewing shared links, so you can leave comments without any extra login steps.
